God’s Delight – Worship

Sometimes God speaks to me in surreal life moments.

Tonight, as we were leading the congregation in Worship I heard the voices of God’s people singing the song back to us. This is something I’ve mentioned to people before…  the congregation only receives one voice, but being up on the stage means that we have the privilege of receiving every single voice back to us in the room. An absolutely incredible, indescribable feeling.

During this moment tonight God allowed me to stand back for a second to hear everyone’s voices and the sound that all the saint’s voices made together and how it filled the air with a sweet and pleasant melody. “Wow’, I thought to myself. And in this moment God shared with me that if I felt that way about hearing everyone’s voices sing as one, that I could just imagine how pleasant it is to Him when His people worship Him.

God adores worship and there is power in Worship and He wanted me to share that with you tonight. When we worship our souls connect directly with Heaven, bringing God’s glory and goodness to earth.

Sing your heart out to God almighty. Bring Him new praises because he is so worthy… sing a new song for He is listening.
